That’s the date booked for Leila’s delivery by caesarian section.

I don’t really have an explanation for how I feel about it. Good, I suppose. Excited, yeah. Relieved, yep.

I mostly feel like a starting gun has just gone off and I’m in the race to the finish - although not quite a race… I have about 60 days from today to have everything ready for her. There’s a kind of sense of urgency, but in a good way. Like it’s OK now to think seriously about getting her room organised, set the pram up for her, finish off the things I’ve been knitting. It really is exciting.

60 days until we see our baby girl’s face.
