Leila Rose Petal

Today I spent some time finishing off things I’ve knitted for Leila. I worked on a jacket and matching hat (the jacket still needs buttons) and a hooded blanket. There’s a another cardi and a jumper to be sewn up, but they will both need some pressing first as they’re seriously rolled up and I couldn’t face turning the iron on today. I might do that on Thursday and then I’ll have a big washing and blocking session before I take photos of them all to show off.

I’ve also started on a couple of pictures for Leila’s room. They’re Winnie the Pooh long stitch kits. Not particularly creative, but they’re very similar to the ones I did for Finn and I thought that would be appropriate.

When our next patch of mild weather arrives I’ll get to work on putting Leila’s clothes away in her room so that I can see what she’s got. Knowing me, she probably has far too many clothes, but I’ll only be able to stop shopping when I can see everything - new and hand-me-down - in one place and satisfy myself that I’ve covered all the bases.
