Dear Leila,
When he was very little your little brother Finn used to just look at us as if we were a bit odd when we read books to him. He never even got particularly interested in books you can touch or play with. Finally we all worked out that subject matter was really really important.
I might be remembering it wrong but I think his love for stories was driven by his greater love for Thomas The Tank Engine. Now we have stories before both sleep and it’s lovely time to spend together.
I hope you are just as interested and we can have the same lovely times together. I guess you might not be interested in Thomas but then again I guess you might love him too. If you do that’s good because we have lots of books and they make a good bedtime story.
Either way I am looking forward to when storytime means something to you whatever it is you decide to like.
