Leila Rose Petal

One could wonder whether Miss Leila dislikes the rain. This morning we were having a lovely drenching outside, while inside The Little Princess was as miserable as I’ve ever seen her. I was starting to wonder whether today was going to be the one where Mark walks in the door and I throw him the baby as I run screaming into the night. But as the storm outside cleared so did the one inside. Miss Leila is all happy again. And I have no idea why.

The diary keeping yesterday was interesting. Leila slept for most of the morning and catnapped all afternoon. I haven’t been taking notes today (hard to write while holding and bouncing the baby), but it’s going to be very different. We’ve had catnaps all morning so I’m hoping for some decent sleep this afternoon. If only to give me time to get Finn out of his pjs.
